Here begins the blogging career of Jayna.
I figured that, since I'm going to France for study abroad this semester, what better way to record it AND share it with family and friends than blogging? Well, I might as well! Perhaps when I get home, I might even keep blogging (le gasp!)
Well, I'm sorta at a loss of what to write about - what does one say to an internet wall? Well, I am Jayna Seegy (affectionate last name nickname), in the middle of my college career, obsessed with the French, salivating after Gason Leroux's Phantom of the Opera, in love with orange, and writer of unfinished novels.
The name of my blog is in commemoration of French singer Edith Piaf. It is a beautiful song.
And daisies, in their simplicity, are the most beautiful.
Well, I've prepared pretty well (sans packing - that'll start tomorrow) and I believe that I won't end up drowning in France. Today is Sunday, and I'm leaving on Wednesday. Wow. I can hardly believe it's almost time to go!
