Maybe if I could crank out a post a month, I should be good. Except this month has been chock full of wonderful goodies, I can't think of where to start!
Started out with my birthday on February third (way cool!) I had at least three birthday parties - one from Kyle (we watched Firefly); one from my roommates (we ordered pizza and went to see Megamind); and one from my siblings (dinner and their house, and they surprised me by bringing Kyle over without my knowing).
So who's this Kyle? Well, he's my boyfriend, and he's amazingly awesome. One thing you should probably know about me is that I'm a very private person, and I think that's the reason why I haven't been updating my blog. Half the things I do, I do with Kyle. Otherwise, I'm doing homework, and there's not much left to talk about after that. I thought that I would have to talk about him eventually, so while I'm waiting for French class to start, I decided to start writing - especially since Lauren mentioned that she still reads this. I wasn't aware anyone was reading this, :)
About my mission call; I've been called to the Belgium/Netherlands mission! Dutch speaking. Never thought I'd be going back to Belgium, and I'm excited for it. I don't know what to say about my report date, though, because it's been deferred. Postponed. Delayed. Any-other-synonym-you-would-like-to-think-of. Both my bishop and stake president agreed that it should be waited upon while I figure things out. But two fun facts: Kyle's dad went to the Belgium Brussels mission (the mission was recently combined with the Netherlands mission); and Kyle's report date was also on May 18th (which was mine until the bishop suggested we defer it). Isn't that cool?
February is an awesome month, I hope you know. Aside from all the freakish weather we've been having, it's been a good time. Kyle and I watched a bunch of movies (and we have quite a list built up - he still needs to watch Thoroughly Modern Millie, only the best Julie Andrews movie of all time!) Saturday we made Aussie burgers (the Australian way of making the most awesome burgers, dontcha know?) and went to see Tron. It was a great movie; the actor for the dad did a splendid job being the protagonist and the villain. The only thing I'd complain about was the 3-D aspect. I hope this fad dies out, cuz it's not that cool. It gives me a bit of a headache, and my eyes tear up every time. It's just another excuse for Hollywood to suck money out of our pockets. Other than that, it was a great movie!
Yesterday was Sunday, and what a fabulously busy Sunday it was! I had my interview with the Stake President, went to church, and we left as soon as Sacrament was over to go to Kyle's cousin's daughter's baby blessing (is that a second cousin, or first cousin once removed? I can never figure it out). It was beautiful, and I got to hold her for a little bit. Newborn babies are just a miracle, and I couldn't stop admiring how tiny and beautiful she was. (P.S. Kyle's family is awesome. His aunt is just a joy, and she reminds me a lot of my second cousin/first cousin once over Debbie.) Then we went to dinner with my great uncle Dale and aunt Margene. Brandon, Hannah and her sister, and Rachel were all there, too, so we had a fabulous time. I really enjoy my time with Uncle Dale, because he has the most fabulous insights, and every time we go over, they have great family history to share with us. This time, he showed a letter from Grandpa Riley to Emma. In fact, it was from a collection of letters that my great grandma very nearly destroyed because she hated how depressing some of them were. I'm so glad that they fell into Uncle Dale's possession. Reading from Riley was just amazing. I have to share some more about it, but now I ought to go to class.
Happy last day of February! Too bad it isn't leap year this year. Otherwise, we could all enjoy this month one day longer!

She's Mom's cousin's wife (I think it's Dan?)
