Fronch bread!

I figure I need to update right about now. Thing is, when something happens, and I don't know how to say it, I just don't bother saying anything at all.

So this is going to look a little funny right after my blog about my mission... but I went to the temple this past Thursday and received the impression that I shouldn't go. (If you don't know what a temple is, just click on the link, or even click on this link.)

So I had an adventure today. After a long and arduous term of a language I could hardly understand, I finally suffered through one more day of pretending I could speak and converse with my classmates! Félicitations! Both of my final exams are on Wednesday. I am way excited, I think I'll be getting Bs in both of my classes (which I'd better! Heaven knows I've worked hard enough for them!)

Also, on the subject of French, I went to the grocery store, and one of my favorite things to do is to feel the rigidity of the bakery's baguettes and complain about how they are never like the ones they make in France. Well, I went to the store today, and the crust was hard enough to whack someone over the head with to knock them unconscious! I bought two of them, but they weren't quite the same texture, but pretty darn close. One of these days, I'm going to figure out how to make authentic French baguettes, and then I'll post it on here for all of you lovely people.

If anyone is in Provo, go to Smith's right now if you want some adequate, nearly-authentic French breads.

And if you want to see something so incredibly wondrous, look at these eagles. I've been following them since they've hatched, and I'm so excited to see when they start flying. PBS also has an amazing documentary on eagles. If you have an hour, you should take a look at it.

(My blog is just chock full of links, today!) Enjoy, and take care, mes amis!
