We are enjoying some fantastic weather here. The snow has finally melted and spring is in the air. The birds are singing, but admittedly, they've been singing all winter long, kudos to our neighbor's plethora of bird feeders and bird houses. Makes for some amazing bird-watching here.
In fact, the other day, we saw our very first pheasant! It was awfully beautiful, he looked like a rainbow. Unfortunately it didn't stick around for too long, or we would have tried to get closer to it.
The last picture is personally my favorite. A moment after that picture was taken, he flew off, and we never saw him again. It was a wonderful moment, because...
Welcome Spring!

I saw a white head, and I thought "BALD EAGLE!!" and held it up really close to see if I was right. Then I read it and found out I wasn't. That's still really cool! And it does feel awesome!
How fun! Linda, Evan, Willa & I saw a roadrunner up close and personal in Palm Springs! Unfortunately Grandpa was in the bathroom. He was very beautiful, and very fast! (The roadrunner, not Grandpa.) I love to see unusual creatures.
