way to a woman's heart

It's been a long two days... Mostly because my Thursday and Friday were meshed into one day. I woke up on Thursday at 7 am and went to bed on Friday at 1 am. I had to write a paper (which is why I was up all night), and I only got an hour's worth of a nap yesterday afternoon. Don't worry; I made up for it by sleeping in till 12:30 today.

So Friday, I finished writing my paper. I think it took far too long to write a three page paper. In English, I think I could have managed it in an hour or two, but this only took about five times as long! No biggie. I'm pretty sure that this paper won't do as well as my first two, but here's to hoping. It didn't put me in a very good mood, though

Kyle made up for my bad day, though. Once he got off work, we went out to this burger joint called JCWs. It's the best fast food in the world AND much better than In and Out, personally. After that, we watched Young Frankenstein. It's amusing and a must-see. Of course, anything with Gene Wilder in it is a must see!

Yesterday was a cleaning day, and I read for my literature class. Kyle was supposed to get out of work at four, but it turned out his experiment was being infuriatingly frustrating, so he didn't get out until six-thirty. We didn't have much of a date; instead, we went grocery shopping. We started at Wally World, then went to Smith's. In between shopping trips, he had to go do something for his church calling, and so when we were finally done, it was 11:00. We had dinner at 11:20.

So you know that phrase, the quickest way to a man's heart is through his stomach? Well, if you make a girl hungry enough, this could also apply to her, too. By the time we were finished, I was so hungry that I was more interested in making the food than in anything else; I would have eaten a hippo.
